IRIDA Labs participates in the H2020 R&D project – Borealis

Patras, 05 February 2015:

Irida Labs kick-started EU-project Borealis which is funded in the context of Horizon 2020 (H2020), the €80 billion European Union Research and Innovation programme.

Borealis aims to build a 3A energy class Flexible Machine for the new Additive and Subtractive Manufacturing on next generation of complex 3D metal parts.

Irida Labs, which participates in this 16-partners consortium as a sole provider for computer vision software solutions, foresees to gain significant experience in the field of industrial manufacturing enhancing this ways its Industrial Machine Vision product portfolio.

This is the second funding that Irida Labs receives on the field of industrial machine vision after the EU project White'R which is funded in the context of the 7th Framework Program.
